This technology is invented by Dr.Back Mattresses and is basically a combination of products to form a final mattress. It’s a combination of layers, with a compulsory layer of super luxurious Micro Pocket Springs and Pneumatic Memory Foam , with a Top Layer of the Patented Intelligent Thermic Fabric , which has a property of temperature regulation depending on the change in Room Temperature. It is a Temperature controlling intelligent fabric. The Thermic Fabric used in the Mattress is a PCM ( Phase Change Material ) and it gives protection from extreme environmental conditions . It intelligently becomes warm in cold temperature and becomes cool in hot temperatures , thereby giving you more comfortable sleep , as it adjusts to the environment . It absorbs , stores or discharges heat in accordance with the various changes in temperature.
The PCM fundamental phenomena of science was initially developed and used for building space suits for astronauts . This suit keeps the astronauts warm in the black void of space and cool in the solar glare . It helps the astronauts to adjust to the harsh environment of Space. It has a Patented Phase Change Material (PCM) reactive microcapsules technology which helps in thermoregulation and keeps the body’s heat production and heat loss in balance. Thus, providing a sensation of thermal comfort. The cooling effect is due to the treatment of microcapsules on fabric. These microcapsules possess the ability to change their physical state (phase) from “solid to liquid” and from “liquid to solid”, within a certain temperature range called as Comfort Zone (28°C - 30°C), in response to ambient temperature differences.
